Mike Dillard’s “Traffic Formula” MLM Training…Creating “You Inc.”

Hi everyone. I just watched Mike Dillard’s new video revealing his infamous “traffic formula” for how he went from waiting tables, to 7-figures in less than 18 months in his early 20’s. He’s earned around 7 million since then in Network/Attraction Marketing.

I’m going to break the traffic formula down for you here so you don’t have to watch all 36 minutes yourself!

First: The Four Major Obstacles to Network Marketing on the Internet that his Traffic Formula Solves:

1. Because of the use of the Internet by Network Marketers, there is now a huge increase in both competition and information. The competition is easy to see. Due to google AdWords, all you have to do is type in your MLM business into Google and watch as all your competitors distributors come up. So you are competing with all that. Next, there is so much information available on the internet that a potential customer or downline might very well find the product you are selling at a discount on eBay from someone who was able to buy a huge amount and then sell it cheaper than you can. Also, there are competitor companies and products, some that might have better nutritional value than yours, or more capsules per jar, or better advertising etc…etc…etc… People now are incredibly savvy shoppers and search the *s–t* out of something before buying or choosing…(don’t you?) This is the information problem; you can find whatever info. you want on the internet and this increases your competition big time…even if you really do have the best product. It doesn’t matter!

2. Decrease in Attention Spans…We are the “ADD Generation!”
Another Opportunity is just a click away! You only have a second to a couple of minutes to capture someone’s attention so you have to become masterful at doing that.

3. Large Decrease in Retention Rates due to the Internet.
Because the next best opportunity is always available to people and the internet markets to people so well, what you get is people leaving your organization as fast as they are coming in. This means your bucket is leaking! This can be a big problem if you don’t learn the very important relationship part of marketing, the “You INC.” method Dillard teaches here, as well as so many other MLM Masters like Ann Sieg, Mike Klinger, John Milton Fogg, and many more!

4. Final Problem: Increase in Legal Oversight by the MLM Companies.
Because the MLM companies themselves are held responsible if there are a bunch of distributors all over the internet making claims about their products that are illegal, many of them have simply dis-allowed internet marketing of their products! This makes Internet Attraction Marketing impossible if you can’t talk about the company at all online!

O.K. So How Do We Get Around All This In Order to Be Successful???

Once you have establishing You Incorporated, by developing a relationship with people through internet marketing of You Inc., then you can begin to do the following:

1. Generate free leads

2. Create sells automatically without having to pick up the phone.

3. Immunize yourself from competition. (B/C people are doing business with you now, believe in working with YOU more than the opportunity, which increases retention rate and lessens competition from other attractive opportunities out there.)

4. Allows you to create multiple streams of income so that you aren’t soley relying on compensation checks to keep your business afloat. As Ann Sieg teaches in the Renegade Network Marketer, this is how you get paid even for all the people you spend time with, even the ones that don’t sign up with your primary MLM opportunity.

So why is this possible with You Inc. but not with just having a Network Marketing business? Firstly, for the four reasons stated at the beginning of this blog, but secondly, and most importantly, because Network Marketing is not a real business!

Why? Because you don’t own any assets!
Legally, absolutely nothing is yours, not even your downline that you’ve worked so hard for. They can legally take your downline away from you for any reason they want, simply b/c they don’t like you. This has happened to many people before so don’t think it can’t happen to you. This actually happened to me, not because the company didn’t like me, but because my upline didn’t notify me that I was a week late in making my minimum order and after TEN YEARS with the company, I was dropped and lost my whole downline at the drop of a hat and there was not a whole lot I could do about it. Furthermore, MLM companies close their doors all the time and if that happens to your company you are totally screwed unless you have developed a You Inc., have your list of people/contacts, and can find a new opportunity and bring those people with you! Without a You Inc., you probably won’t even have the contact information for your downline nor a relationship with them strong enough for them to follow you anywhere. So you are left high and dry! This happens all the time just like in any other business where the business fails and you lose your job. It can be a lot worse with a Network Marketing business though if you haven’t built your major asset as a Network Marketer, your list.

The Assets of You Inc.

1. Your list

2. The relationship you have with your list. This is your equity and much more important than simply having a list of contacts. The contacts mean very little without a relationship you have developed with them.

3. The fact that you can market to this list is a major asset, because if you monetize correctly, you can actually get paid to generate your own leads!!! This equates to leverage you would not otherwise have- leverage to pay for advertising and other business expenses the small business person needs to stay afloat. This leverage literally keeps you a step up from your competitors.
