As you probably are well aware, there is a lot of misunderstanding about the Network Marketing Industry. Here is a great tool to help teach the reality to your prospects by two of the most successful business men in the world.
Believe it or not, the truth is that corporations are the real pyramid schemes! This is because in a corporation, you will never make as much money as those above you unless you get their position. With Network Marketing, you actually can become more successful then those above you, and they talk about this little known fact in this article.
Of course you also need to make sure that the MLM business you are getting involved with is not really a pyramid scheme, but they are now illegal, so it is rarer. However, be aware that if you are made to spend a lot of money on marketing materials then it is a red flag that the business could very well be classified as an illegal pyramid scheme. Training materials are very important, but if a company or leader is making more than just a tiny amount of money from the sale of training materials primarily used to recruit people to sell more training materials, then this is a definite red flag to look out for!
Also- remember MLM’s dirty little secret – There is far more money selling leads, tapes, websites, and videos to MLMers than there is in participating in MLM!!! So while this doesn’t mean that we all shouldn’t spend money on trainings and materials to help us build our business, it does however mean that if all you are doing is spending money on this stuff, and you are not succeeding financially, then you have probably fallen into this MLM trap!
